Ulm's Surrender: Framed Engraving
The battle of Ulm is an important victory won by the Grand Army of Napoleon I on an Austrian army commanded by General Karl Mack, between 23 and 28 Vendemiaire year XIV (15 and 20 October 1805). It is won mainly by the clever maneuvers of the Emperor, who pushes his opponent to lock himself in Ulm, where he must quickly make his surrender. It causes so few deaths on the French side.
